Which companies does the program quote?

In Oregon, the program quotes health insurance plans from Regence, LifeWise, PacifiCare, PacificSource, HealthNet, ODS, Kaiser Permanente, Providence as well as OMIP.

In Washington it quotes health insurance plans from Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, Regence BlueShield, Premera BlueCross, LifeWise Health Plans of Washington, LifeWise Health Plans of Oregon, KPS Health Plans, Group Health Cooperative, and Asuris Northwest Health.

Does the program only quote plans that are available in a particular area?

Yes!  The quoting function presents only plans that are available in the zip code entered.

Do I need Internet access for the program to work?

No Internet access is required for the program to function, however in order to get program and rate updates the program needs Internet access to perform the updates.

How much does H.I. Quoter cost?

You can buy an annual subscription of the program that includes all rate and software enhancements for $179 per year.  That is less than the commission earned on one average sale of an individual health insurance policy. Agencies needing more copies than four copies qualify for volume discounts.

Can I buy one license and have more than one agent use the program?

No. The license agreement allows the installation of H.I.Quoter on one computer and the program can not be registered on more than one machine at a time.

Can I quote only the plans from the companies that I represent?

Yes!  The quoting function allows you to select the companies that you want to quote.

Does H.I.Quoter allow me to save quotes and then open and use them later?

Yes, that function is built into the program too.
