You will notice that there are several tabs directly below the data input fields. Each tab will display different information for a particular quote.

Quotes Tab

Once you have entered the information for the person or family that you are quoting, click the "Get Quotes" button. Once you have generated the quote you will see the 5 column display in the Quotes Tab. This Tab has many features listed below:

Sorting

Each of the last 4 columns to the right has a Heading (Company, Plan, Deductible, and Premium). You can click on any of these Headings and H.I.Quoter will sort the quote results as follows:

• Company - Clicking this Heading will sort the quote by Company. Click once and it will sort from A->Z. Click again and it will sort from Z->A.
• Plan - Clicking this Heading will sort the quote by Plan Name. Just like the "Company" sorting, this is done alphabetically. Click once and it will sort plan names from A->Z. Click again and it will sort plan names from Z->A.
• Deductible - Clicking this Heading will sort the quote by Deductible. Click once and it will sort plans from Low Deductible->High Deductible. Click again and it will sort plans from High Deductible->Low Deductible. Since HMO plans don't have a deductible, they are considered to be the lowest deductible...
• Premium - Clicking this Heading will sort the quote by Premium. Click once and it will sort plans from Lowest Price->Highest Price. Click again and it will sort plans from Highest Price->Lowest Price.

You will notice that the information displayed in the Company and Plan columns are Blue. This is because there is more information that can be found by clicking on either a Company Name or a Plan Name. When you move your cursor over either one you will notice that it changes. Here is what you will find by clicking on one:

• Company - Clicking this link will launch your Internet Browser and display a particular company's Online Provider Directory allowing you to check for a particular hospital or provider. This makes it easy for you to answer the question; "Is my doctor in the Network?".
• Plan - Clicking this link will open a full benefit description for the Plan selected. This presents the information provided in a Company's Benefit Schedules that are given to clients in brochures or other media.

Comparison Tab

First you must select at least two and no more than three plans from the "Quotes" tab that you want to compare. You select the plans to compare by using the check-box in the far left column of the "Quotes" tab. After you have selected the plans you want to compare, use your cursor and click the tab marked "Comparison" and you will be able to view either "Network" or "Non-Network" benefits for the selected plans. Since not all companies present their information in the same manner, we have shorten this list to what we consider to be the most important information about the plans. To change from Network Benefits to Non-Network Benefits, use the drop down box located within the Comparison tab.
